Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers, or laminates, are wafer-thin shells of porcelain, which are bonded onto the front surfaces of teeth. They are an excellent cosmetic solution for teeth which are stained, chipped, or misaligned. They are considered to be conservative restorations because they require minimal tooth reduction (about 0.5mm).

Laminates offer a beautiful life-like appearance and are the secret to many movie star smiles. They are incredibly strong restorations and are resistant to staining due to their highly glazed surfaces. Porcelain laminates are not the only esthetic options available in dentistry, but when indicated, they are remarkable.
