Dr. Mousavi attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate studies, where she majored in Biological Sciences and Minored in Chemistry. She received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York University in 1994. During her post graduate studies at NYU, she did extensive research in Facial Aesthetics and the perception of Aesthetics. She completed her fellowship in General Practice Residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in 1995. At this program she extensively studied implant restoration and aesthetic dentistry.
She has various certificates in implant and laser dentistry, and is a Certified Invisalign Provider.
Dr. Mousavi continues to take continuing education courses always surpassing the State Licensing Requirements. Dr. Mousavi is an active member of the following Organizations:
